Abiola is an Industrial Designer and Design Engineer whose works span across the disciplines of smart technologies and craft items that apply to everyday life. Abiola received her BFA Industrial Design from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) and MS Engineering Design from Northwestern University. She is a Fulbright-Nehru Open Research award recipient and GEM fellowship recipient.  

With an appreciation for like mined people who pay attention to craftsmanship and the choices made to represent and bring feeling to an intended audience, she welcomes opportunities to exercise her passion for ethnography, history and design combined to inform systems and experiences that add to the production of human culture.
